Kirsty Snowden originally studied at the National Theatre Drama School in Melbourne. Once graduated she moved to NYC to further her education at the Herbert Berghof Studio and to soak up as much experience as possible. She remained in NYC for six and a half years and after a brief but productive stint in Los Angeles moved back to Australia. She has worked on ‘Bed of Roses’ as well as various commercials, has completed three seasons as a presenter/interviewer on the locally produced arts program ‘Behind The Words’, played the role of Sam in the television series ‘Leongatha’ plus she has performed in several short films (‘Best Before’ and ‘The Long Weekend’). Kirsty has a strong background in theatre and over her career has enjoyed a variety roles ranging from the eccentric Maid Marion for children’s theatre to the heroic Hermione from Shakespeare’s ‘A Winter’s Tale’, most recently she played Madelyn in ‘Every Grain of Sand’ at Chapel Off Chapel. Director and writer Chuck Rose (LA) has stated, ‘She is immensely talented, works tirelessly and truthfully, and brings a quirky humour and charm which is uniquely hers. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is a rare treasure.’
